Chris Littlefield
Chris grew up in the Texas
Panhandle town of McLean.
He began his career with
horses at an early age and
by the time he was nine
years old he knew he
wanted to spend the rest of
his life working with horses.
As he day worked on area
ranches and competed in
youth rodeos, he learned the
value of a well trained horse.
As he worked to train his
own horses to be better
performers, people took note
of his skills and started
sending him their horses.
He trained his first horse for
money when he was 12
years old and has been
doing it as a profession ever
since. It was his cowboying
skills and horse training
business that put him
through college, earning a
bachelor’s degree in
Agriculture Business from
West Texas A&M.
CHRIS LITTLEFIELD
He worked on ranches all over the Texas Panhandle, including the Pitchforks in Guthrie. His eye for horses
served him well as horse program manager and assistant ranch manager for Stuart Ranch Waurika,
Oklahoma for over eight years. In 2008 he purchased a horse training facility in Henrietta where he trains
cutting horses, rope horses, and reined cowhorses.

Chris pursues life with passion and purpose. He is always seeking opportunities to learn and grow. He has
applied himself to every aspect of the horse training business and sought out the best trainers in various
discipline to hone his skills as a trainer and competitor.
As a result of his dedication, he has
won major awards at the National
Reined Cow Horse Association,
World's Greatest Horseman and
various AQHA titles, including a 2009 Jr
Heading Champion and 2004 Super
Horse with Real Gun. Chris trained
Real Gun (starting him out at the
Ranch Horse Association of America
shows) and then showed him in every
event at the AQHA Superhorse World
Show. Most people train the horses,
and then at the World Show get the
best person in each event to show
them in the tie-down roping, heading,
heeling, cowhorse, and reining. Chris
is only one of three people in AQHA
history to train and show the same
horse in every event to win the Super
Horse title.
