Real Guns Sweetie and Chris won 3rd in the 2009
AQHA World Championship Junior Heeling
A special thanks to all of our customers who made 2009 such a great year. Chris had the opportunity to ride and
train many horses that had some impressive accomplishments in the 2009 show season. Here are a few of the
highlights.
Real Guns Sweetie

A big congratulations to Sanna Buckbee, of Adair, Oklahoma. Chris
rode her 4-yr-old mare, Real Guns Sweetie, to win the
2009 AQHA
World Junior Heading Champio
n title. Sanna is a long time
customer, and Chris has been riding this mare since her 2-yr-old
year. It was a pleasure and an honor for Chris to ride such a nice
horse. Thank you, Sanna, for the opportunity. This mare had a solid
performance at the AQHA World Show. She finished an impressive
3rd in the Junior Heeling at the 2009 AQHA World Show. For the
AQHA
interview, video and photos click here.

A special thanks to Chris' team roping partner Steve Orth, whose
heading and heeling skills gave Real Guns Sweetie a chance to
show her ability to the fullest.
Real Sharp Shooter

Congratulations to Keith McLain and his
horse Real Sharpshooter, a 2004 gray
stallion by Real Gun. Chris rode
“Shooter” to a
7th place finish at the
AQHA World Show in the Junior
Cowhorse
. Shooter also placed 11th in
the 2009 NRCHA Circly Y Open Derby
,
including an 8th place finish in the cow
work. Shooter has always been strong
down the fence, and is now coming
along very nicely as a rope horse. Chris
is looking forward to showing him again
in the 2010 season.

Congratulations to Dave Daube, and the
Daube Ranch, of Ardmore, Oklahoma for

stallion by Dual Pep, Chapel Bell became an
NRCHA money earner in 2009 with his 3rd
Place Finish in the Cow Work in the Novice
Horse Division at the 2009 SRCHA Circle Y
Ranch Derby. Chapel Bell was also
a 2009
AQHA Super Horse contender
, qualifying for
the AQHA World Show in the junior cow horse,
heading and heeling events. He was a
n
AQHA World Show Finalist
in the Junior
heading.
Doc O Boots

Congratulations to the W.T. Waggoner Estate on
the 2009 success of Doc O Boots, a 1996 Sorrel
Stallion by Grays Starlight. “Boots” placed 5th in
the cow work and steer stopping competitions at
the 2009 NRCHA World’s Greatest Horseman

Joes Country Tune

Chris  enjoyed training and showing Joes
Country Tune, a.k.a. “Conan” in the AQHA
senior heading and heeling events in 2009.
Conan is a 2003 stallion by Mr Joes Song.
Roping pictures of Conan were featured in the
April 2009 issue of Western Horseman. A big
